If I Want To Buy Vacant Land From A Private Owner, How Do I Go About It?
Do I involve a realtor or attorney….or both? I live in Pa and want to buy vacant land next to my property. The owner moved to Texas awhile ago. Im not sure how I would do this beings that she lives so far away and has all paperwork, etc. Any information would be appreciated. Also, if I have to get a lawyer do you think it would be expensive? I haven’t contacted a lawyer yet because I would have to pay just to ask him if I needed his services, you know. Property is only sold for a few thousand dollars. Thanks!

Um, I hate to tell you this, Mr. Texas, but most people will not pay you to cut your trees down, you will have to pay them. I had to have a tree removed from my house in Austin two years ago, and it was pricey! It was a big pecan tree, and I paid $1000 to have it removed.
